The Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire, Festus Akinbusoye, is seeking a new Chief Constable to lead Bedfordshire Police and work to deliver the Commissioner’s Police and Crime Plan for the county.
Festus Akinbusoye said: “I am looking for a values led individual with the leadership experience to inspire and motivate the outstanding police staff, volunteers and officers of Bedfordshire Police, and continue to deliver my police and crime plan for our local communities.
“I am looking for a Chief Constable who wants to take our exceptional police force forward to meet the challenges and demand that modern policing faces. Applicants will need to have a track record in organisational improvement and be prepared to be bold, innovative and courageous in their decision making.
