The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, is launching a specific Luton Youth Space’s Fund, which seeks to aid any plans you may have for improving shared community environments for young people in Luton.
The OPCC has £14,000.00 to support your work and welcomes bids of no more than £4,500.
Previous successful applications include remodelling a Youth Hub, woodland based activities, upgrading lighting and kitchen/toilet facilities and skate park. This provides a safe and secure space for young people to build confidence and long-lasting friendships.
The OPCC is keen to get projects underway, just as soon as the current Pandemic has passed us.
The OPCC would like to see Councils to submit ideas in terms of improving locations for young people with the ambition of deterring them from unsafe spaces. Or the opposite where they invest in areas they would support young people in socialising in.
