Summary:
The revised S.22 Dissolution of JPS CTP&P Agreement and accompanying report was submitted to JCOB on Friday, 7th May. The Agreement removes the Counter Terrorism Protect & Prepare Unit and re-distributes its responsibilities across OSU, APU and CCU. The Agreement also incorporates the introduction of the Taser Training Unit into JPS which took place some months ago.
Following approval at JCOB of the revised JPS S.22 Agreement, and signature of all 3 Chief Constables, a request was made by Joint Protective Services for Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Constabularies for the PCC to electronically sign the Agreement.
