Summary:
Bedfordshire Police Chief Constable, Garry Forsyth, announced he is stepping down from his role after serving three years as Chief Constable for Bedfordshire Police Force. Mr Forsyth had accrued a substantial amount of untaken leave.
As a result, on 26th September 2022, Deputy Chief Constable Trevor Rodenhurst will act up as the Chief Constable of Bedfordshire Police Force until the recruitment process has finalised and a new Chief Constable has been selected and appointed following a confirmation Hearing by the Police and Crime Panel.
